- You need 1.5 tsp of instant coffee.
- Provide 2 tbsp of water.
- You need 55gram of butter.
- Use 50gram of powdered sugar.
- Provide 1/2tspn of vanilla essence.
- Prepare 3/4cup of all-purpose flour.
- Use 1/8cup of cocoa powder.
- Provide 14/cup of cornflour.
Instructions to make Coffee Bean Cookies :
- First of all mix coffee powder with water in a bowl.
- Whisk room temperature butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Now add vanilla essence and coffee water to it and mix it well.
- Add all-purpose flour, cocoa powder and corn flour to the mixture and mix everything well to make a dough. Make a smooth dough out of it and cover and chill it in the refrigerator for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 24 equal portions. Now shape each portion into an oval shape and with the help of a butter knife or back of the spoon make a mark in the middle of the oval to make it look like a coffee bean. Prepare all the cookies in the same manner. Put all the cookies on a greased baking tray and bake it in a preheated oven at 170 degree for 15 to 20 minutes. Let the cookies cool down completely at room temperature before use.
